The CFA Research Challenge 2026-2027 season has arrived, with the first step of the journey, the Program Sessions, which will kick off on July 1st, allowing eligible students to learn and enhance their financial knowledge.

1) Online application form: Kick-start your journey by submitting the application form through the provided link.
2) Once the application stage concludes, a new chapter unfolds. Selected applicants will move on to the assessment stage, a crucial step in identifying the best representatives for the competition. Here's what you need to know:
Academic Background Exam: This exam will delve into key areas, including financial accounting, corporate finance, and macroeconomics. Review essential concepts, including financial statement items, the present value of cash flows, GDP, supply and demand, inflation, and monetary and fiscal policies. Your preparation in these areas will give you a solid foundation for success. For the academic background assessment, dive into your textbooks, explore online resources, and consider watching YouTube tutorials. Revisiting these concepts will bolster your confidence.
Competency-Based Exam: This exam evaluates two vital skills—Numerical Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. To excel, we recommend taking practice tests to hone your abilities. The CFA Ambassadors are dedicated to ensuring you're well-prepared for this stage.
3) On-ground interview: If you successfully complete the first two steps, “Top scorers in the assessments”, you will qualify for an in-person interview
